Marchesa Fall 2012/2013

When I watched this collection from Marchesa what came to my mind first is the word feminine! I think the pieces looks so goddes. A lot of tulle, pastel colors, gold, sequins, and laces! xx

Clutch DIY by Stylescrapbook

Sometimes we're in those situations when we are about to go out and those not-so-important things we usually bring in our bag aren't needed. Clutch seems to be the right answer, right? It's so simple and we could just carry it in our hands, and moreover clutch is so in right now.
So I'm feeling a little crafty today, and I would like to share a simple clutch DIY by Andy from StyleScrapbook (I'm a fan of her!). You can view the full steps of this yellow clutch DIY on Andy's blog here. Have fun and happy weekend! xx

Fashionology

Have you guys heard about Fashionology ? It's a jewelry line and is currently based in Rotterdam. The founder, Rachel Duister, actually started this line in 2009 while she was studying art because it was difficult for her to find jewelries that suited her style. Her inspiration comes from nature and different cultures, and each of their design is unique and handcrafted in the Netherlands. Can you imagine it? Each pieces is specially made for you! <3

These are some of their latest collection I found on their website, so ethnical and edgy, no?

Sequins are trending! This tiny little sparkles could make any outfit looks glamorous and luxurious, though I think we got to be careful not to look tacky and so excessive, no? I think gold sequins looks best with white or creamy white colors, because the colors just blended so perfectly! I also found a neon colored Diane Von Furstenberg sequined silk top and it looks good too with a nice black strap! Pretty!

Raf Simons for Dior

Finally the Belgian designer Raf Simons is officially chosen as the new creative director of Dior.

He actually studied industrial design, but after years of self-study, he finally became a menswear designer. Some of his works are Raf Simons and Raf by Raf Simons, and he was also the creative director for Jil Sander. Simons would be presenting his last collection for the label Jil Sander on the Fall/Winter 2012/13 collection, while preparing his first collection for Dior which is going to be the Fall collection (if I'm not mistaken?)

As we're expecting some of his best works for Dior, here are his Raf Simons Fall 2012 Menswear Collection!

Outfit Picks: Black and White

Here it almost rains everyday lately, and the wind is so strong. And while searching for some inspirations for these cold days on FashiolistaI found such a beautiful jacket from Mirabella yesterday! It looks pretty and ladylike, but also looks warm and comfortable to be worn on a windy day. So here are some black and white outfit mix-n-match to complete the  Mirabella  jacket! I didn't realize there's a lot of gold touch too, so..yeah haha.
And have you heard about Raf Simons who's now filling the position to replace John Galliano for Dior? Will be posting about it soon! Have a good day! xxx

Origami Jewellery

Inspired by the beauty of Japanese creativity, Claire & Arnaud (the French design friends) founded their own brand “Origami Jewellery”. The inspiration came during a night in the winter when their friend Masayuki Muraki taught them the typical Japanese folding handcraft. Short story, Since January 2008, “Claire & Arnaud” introduced their first collection of jewellery with the model Tsuru®, the symbol of peace in Japan.
And these are some of their latest collection:
